Education plays a pivotal role in building a Nation it is essence of progress & prosperity. Unfortunately in Pakistan education has never been given its due place on priority list of any government. According to official statistics, the literacy rate of Pakistan is about 42% whereas sources are not ready to admit it more than 25%. About 1903460 children take admission in primary schools and about 1771382 are enrolled in secondary schools.
But on University level the figure is just 139320. in other words ratio of students who get themselves registered in higher education institution is only 2.9%. Research shows that there are two main reasons of the worst situation of education in Pakistan.
:: Poverty
:: Unavailability of educational facilities.
In these circumstances, keeping in view the above mentioned scenario, Some intelligent students, dutiful teachers and renowned educationists have joined hands to establish
“Study Aid Foundation for Excellence” (SAFE).
SAFE is aimed to promote education culture, encourage healthy competition among students and sponsor the talented students at college & university level
